Napier Motor Carlarge Road Wheel Locking Cap/nut

Genuine NAPIER MOTOR CAR brass road wheel nut. This is a piece of OLD WORLD AUTOMOBILIA of the highest order.

Dating from the veteran/early vintage era of motoring this Napier wheel nut is around 100 to 120 years old. Made from a solid piece of brass the outer is polished with the word NAPIER stamped in the nut. Inside the nut has had a thread cut into its outer lip.

Also there is an monogram/manufactures mark and the number S6949 in raised lettering. Measurements are 4 and 3/4 inch diameter.

The nut head is 2 and 1/4 inch. Its just a nice thing to own. This piece would enhance any automobilia collection however small or impressive it may be.
